It seems as though there is a great need to
pigeonhole people these days and no matter what walk of life you are
in, there will be something or someone looking to bracket you into a
box. The thing is though, there is always likely to be some element of
truth in these matters which means that the personality type will often
be true. This is definitely the case for casino players and you may want
to have a look and see if you are one of the following personality

It is fair to say that at one point or another, every casino player will
have been a casino novice. Even for players who had played casino games
at home with family or friends, stepping into a casino or playing an
online casino for the first time can be an intimidating prospect. It
seems as though your eyes are wider than everybody else's as you try to
take in all the sights and attractions of a casino. It can be easy to be
distracted in a casino and of course, this can diminish your chances of

A step-up from the beginner is the casual casino player and this is the
sort of player that knows their place in the casino. They are well aware
that they are unlikely to make a life-changing amount of money by
playing the game but they know the rules and they know their chances of
winning. These means they can often take or leave the fact that they
play and are sometimes happy to see other players play. This is the type
of person who will be happy checking out the other facilities and

All too often in casinos, there are players who are there for the
drinking and social aspect as opposed to the playing. There is nothing
wrong with this in reason, after all, having a sociable drink on an
evening out is a great past-time but if the alcohol is flowing freely,
it can descend into a different mood all too quickly. Unfortunately, it
is often the case that the person doesn’t realize what condition they
are in but the rest of the casino does. This is unfortunate for

At the other end of the spectrum is the player that is a little too keen
and knowledgeable about the game. It is not enough that they have
calculated the house edge in all of the games, they have to let other
players know this information as well. Providing valuable information
can be a good thing but if players don’t want the advice or the advice
becomes dull and boring, it is something that can become unwanted very
quickly. Again, the casino bore is probably the last person to realize
that they are acting in this way.
